If you’re not familiar with White pizza, it’s a pizza made without tomato or marinara sauce, and topped with white cheeses. It’s also called Pizza Bianca. There’s a sophisticated, classy feel to it but it’s every bit as easy as traditional pizza, and it’s completely customizable!

Minute Green Pizza Sauce With Basil & Spinach

1. Prebake pizza dough: Take pizza dough and stretch to desired size. Prebake in the oven at 425 degrees F for 5 minutes.

2. Add toppings: Remove from oven and brush with olive oil and minced garlic. Mix together ricotta, salt, pepper, and herbs and spread mixture into a thin layer across the pizza. Layer with thin slices of fresh mozzarella, and a sprinkle of half the pecorino cheese.

3. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining pecorino and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.

HOW TO MAKE PIZZA WITHOUT TOMATO SAUCE As much as I love traditional pizza with tomato sauce, there’s something special about this olive oil white pizza. It’s easy to make, super fragrant and cheesy. Instead of the red sauce this one is made with a garlic olive oil sauce.  I also like to add fresh herbs for extra fragrance. The base of the sauce is O-LIVE & CO Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. They have such an amazing variety of unique flavors and I absolutely love using them in cooking and baking. O-Live o lives are pressed and sealed within a few hours of harvest which makes it one of the freshest and healthiest olive oils! NO TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE INGREDIENTS Extra virgin olive oil. Make sure to use a good quality olive oil. I used O-LIVE & CO Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. PIZZA DOUGH 2 1/2 cup all-purpose or pizza flour 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast 1 tbsp sweetener such as raw sugar , honey etc. 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 cup very warm water (between 105-110F) 1 tsp sea salt SAUCE 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano and basil 4 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 tsp sea salt TOPPINGS fresh mozzarella cheese ricotta cheese (optional) fresh herbs for serving

Use all-purpose, whole wheat or a specific pizza flour to make the dough. You can mix for example 1 1/2 cup all purpose and 1 cup pizza flour or whole wheat. 2. If using active dry yeast remember to dissolve them. First mix the yeast with warm water, sweetener and oil and let it stand to activate for about 5 minutes.
