Pizza dough — check out my recipe for a delicious homemade pizza dough. I have a complete step-by-step guide on how to make dough from scratch, and it’s super easy to make ahead of time so you can make this pizza in a flash. Alternatively, you can use store-bought pizza dough.

Mac And Cheese Pizza

Pizza sauce — you can use homemade or store-bought pizza sauce. When buying store-bought sauce, keep an eye on the ingredient list and try to get one with fewer filler ingredients.

Mozzarella — you can slice your own mozzarella or buy it pre-shredded. Keep in mind that fresh mozzarella has a lot of moisture, so it might cause the pizza to become watery.

4. Sprinkle with parmesan before baking for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the crust is browned and the cheese is bubbling.

Goat Cheese Pizza Recipe

Mozzarella is a classic cheese for pizza. However, feel free to change things up. Some of my other favorite cheeses are cheddar, provolone, goat cheese, and burrata cheese.

Store leftover pizza in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. Be sure to wrap it in plastic wrap to prevent the pizza from taking on smells in the refrigerator. To reheat, microwave, or reheat in the oven.

You can! To freeze individual slices of cheese pizza, wrap them up in plastic wrap one by one and freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge and reheat in the oven or microwave.

The Best Homemade Pizza Recipe

My love for garlic pizza runs deep, which is no surprise to anyone who knows me. It’s literally 100% cheese and carbs, without even an ounce of good-for-you greens. That pretty much sums me up.😂

Some days I really wish I was one of “those people” who genuinely craves fresh vegetables over cheese and carbs. It’s not that I hate vegetables, I don’t at all! It’s just……well, you know. Put a piping hot garlic cheese pizza in front of me, in all its magnificent melty cheesy glory, alongside the best salad in the world, and there’s just no question what I’m going for, every single time:

You can use any pizza base you want – homemade classic, this magic no-yeast pizza base or store bought. But for best results, grate your own cheese! Store bought pre-grated is packaged with anti-caking agents which prevents the cheese from melting nicely.

Homemade Cheese Pizza

My little secret tip is to infuse the oil with lovely garlic flavour by setting it aside for just 10 minutes. And use a garlic press for maximum release of flavour!

Cut and devour immediately, while the cheese is at its melty, oozy perfection. Marvel at how similar it is to that great pizzeria you went to a few months ago with your friends, but feel smug that this homemade one cost you less than $6 to make and how you get to eat it in the comfort of your own home in trackies and ugg boots. 2. Garlic – For the best results, we want the garlic in a paste form so it fully infuses the oil with flavour. If you don’t have a garlic crusher, finely mince the garlic using your knife then smear it into a paste using the side of the knife.

3. Cheese notes – Freshly shredded melts / spreads better because pre-shredded in packets are coated with anti-clumping agents. If using cups for measuring, shred first then pack it in tightly else you’ll be short – so sad. I cut hunks of cheese, weigh, then grate.

I believe you can make great food with everyday ingredients even if you’re short on time and cost conscious. You just need to cook clever and get creative!Reference this Baking with Yeast Guide whenever you work with baker’s yeast. I include practical answers to all of your common yeast questions.

Easy Triple Cheese Pizza

Homemade pizza crust may sound difficult to you.Why waste the time when you can just buy frozen pizza dough? Frozen pizza dough is definitely more convenient, but homemade pizza crust has a delicious flavor and texture that only comes from YOU!

Homemade

Here’s my recipe for homemade pizza dough. And this is the breakdown of ingredients you need. There’s only 6, plus some water.

Turn your homemade crust into something social by hosting a pizza night. Have friends over, make a batch of the dough, roll into smaller circles (5-6 inches each), and serve with different toppings. Everyone can assemble their own individual pizzas. There are NO rules when it comes to pizza toppings! However, don’t go too heavy or your crust will become soggy and weighed down. My pizza recipe below is for regular extra cheese pizza, but feel free to pile your favorite veggies or meat on top.

Honey Cheese Pizza

And not only that, little bakers can lend a hand making dinner AND have fun in the process. Let them help you press down the dough and shape into a circle. They can add their cheeses and make pepperoni faces on top of the pie. Common, who doesn’t love a smiley pizza? 🙂

My pizza dough recipe yields about 2 pounds of dough, which is enough for two 12-inch pizzas. Toppings listed below are enough for one 12-inch extra cheese pizza. Freeze the rest of the pizza dough for another time, or make two pizzas by doubling the topping ingredients. Feel free to use 1 lb. store-bought pizza dough instead of homemade.
