Pizza Recipe Cups

An interesting and fun way to present your pizzas. These cute little pizza cups will delight anyone, especially kids. Perfectly shaped and easy to handle, they make for a great addition to lunch boxes or for picnics and road trips.

Mix all the dry ingredients and the oil, then slowly start adding the warm milk a little at a time.  Get it to a soft dough, the softer the better, knead it very well for at least 8 minute or more if possible.

Easy

Dab a touch of oil all over the dough, then cover it and place it somewhere warm.  Leave it to rise to double its size, takes about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the weather.

PIC 1:  Roll each dough ball out into a circle of about quarter inch thickness, then gently place it in the cup hole of the pan, patting it gently to fit the shape. Repeat with the rest of the balls.

PIC 2:  Next, spread a light layer of pizza sauce in each cup (recipe HERE)  Then add the fillings you plan on using, just make sure you are not using a soggy filling (I used THIS one, plus some of THESE extra toppings).

Allow the pizza cups to rest and rise for 20 minutes, then preheat the oven at 180 C.  Bake them for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the dough is cooked through.

PIC 5-6:  Remove the pizza cups from the pan and allow them to rest on a wire rack to cool slightly before serving. These delicious cups can be frozen for up to 2 weeks.

We are two friends with the same name (just spelt slightly different) who share the same vision and dream. Together we’ve partnered up and developed a site where you and your loved ones can discover or re-kindle your passion for cooking. FKF.com is born!As a mom of four little ones (and a big fan of individual eats!), I’ve turned to my trusty muffin pan to make Easy Cheesy Pizza Cups. These quick cups take minutes to prep and can be made with store-bought or homemade pizza dough.

There is nothing I won’t make in a muffin pan! I’ve tackled breakfast through dessert in muffin form, and even dabbled with pizza pockets, but it was time to go back to the basics with this new recipe.

Mini Pizza Cups Recipe: How To Make It

The best part of having individual cups means each one can be customized with your choice of fillings, from various sauces and cheeses to all the meats and veggies you can load inside.

Not a fan of chicken on pizza? Go the all-veggies route, or take your pick from mini pepperoni or Italian sausage. Any and all of the above work well when pizza transforms into cups.

Much like a slice of pizza, the goal with reheating pizza cups is to return to gooey cheese glory while also slightly crisping the cups. To achieve this combination of textures, opt for reheating the pizza cups in a 250°F oven (covering the cups with foil) for 5 to 10 minutes, until they’re warmed through.

Easy Pizza Cups

This cookbook has sweet and savory baking recipes, along with kitchen safety and prep tips, to help teens and beginning bakers. I wrote this cookbook to help you all feel more confident in the kitchen!

And to give you a peek of what to expect in the cookbook, I thought I'd share one of the easiest, tastiest recipes here on the blog.

Pizza

Homemade pizza dough or one (13.8 ounce) tube of prepared pizza crust - While I love our homemade pizza dough recipe, I usually use store-bought pizza crust that comes in a tube for pizza cups.

How To Make A Pepperoni Cups Pizza

Pepperoni - I prefer to cut the pepperoni into quarters, but you could also cut them into half or just leave them whole.

Unroll the pizza dough. Using a knife or pizza cutter, roll out and cut the dough into 12 squares. Place 1 square in each muffin cup, then use your fingers to gently press the dough to fit into the bottom.

Add the pizza filling. Spoon a heaping spoonful of pizza sauce into each pizza cup. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoonful of the mozzarella on top of the sauce. Cut the pepperoni slices in half, then add 2 or 3 pieces to each cup.

Bake the pizza cups. Place the muffin pan in the oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the top crust is golden brown and the filling is hot. Allow to cool slightly in the pan before tipping the cups out of the pan and serving.

TEX-MEX PIZZA CUPS: use a Mexican-style cheese blend instead of mozzarella, leave out the pepperoni, and add chopped jalapeƱos, black olives, and minced fresh cilantro. Serve with sour cream and salsa.

Pepperoni

Pizza cups can be made into full meals with the addition of one or two tasty side dishes. Try one of these to complete your lunch or dinner!

Sausage Pepperoni Pizza Cups

If you're serving these as Game Day snacks or party snacks, try these other yummy air fryer snacks, like Air Fryer Pizza Rolls, Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket, and Crispy Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower.

I haven't tried this substitution so I cannot say for sure that the cook times and ratios will stay the same. However, they are similar in terms of ingredients, so if you do try it, please let me know how it goes!

I usually make a couple of pizza cups dairy-free for myself, and it's fairly easy. Simply substitute the mozzarella cheese with your favorite dairy-free mozzarella shreds alternative.

Easy Mini Pepperoni Pizza Muffins

Absolutely! Simply double the ingredients and use a second muffin pan to make 24 total pizza cups. If they will fit in your oven side-by-side, bake them that way for more even baking. If they do not, be sure to rotate the pans halfway through the baking time to help each muffin pan of pizza cups bake evenly.
